Abstrak

Gubrak Lesung is a typical Banyumas tradition that not only plays an important role in preserving Banyumas cultural heritage, but also as a platform for women's voices. While Gubrak Lesung has been designated by the government as an intangible cultural heritage in 2020, real challenges in preserving this culture still exist, especially with the diminishing interest of the younger generation. The importance of actively involving the younger generation in cultural preservation efforts, as well as concrete steps that can be taken by the community and local government to ensure that Gubrak Lesung remains alive and thriving as part of Banyumas' cultural identity.
