Abstract

The main component in the learning process is effective communication between educators and students. Teachers' communication styles play an important role in determining the extent to which students understand learning messages. Effective communication needs to be adapted to the diversity of student demographics, such as family, social, religious, and cultural backgrounds. This study aims to analyze how teachers adjust their communication styles based on student demographics to improve learning effectiveness. The research uses qualitative methods through a literature review sourced from relevant books, articles, and scientific journals. The results of the study show that adjusting the teacher's communication style according to student demographics improves understanding, participation, and an inclusive learning atmosphere. Teachers who understand the socio-cultural context of students are able to convey educational messages objectively and empathetically. In addition, teachers need to have intercultural competence and self-reflection to adapt to student diversity. In the context of Christian Religious Education, contextual communication reflects the values of love, justice, and respect for human dignity in accordance with the concept of Imago Dei. Thus, adjusting the communication style of PAK teachers contributes to contextual, dialogical learning and shapes the Christian character of students.
