KAPATA: Journal of Theology and Christian Education is a scientific journal that publishes research results and scientific thoughts in the fields of theology and Christian education. The word Kapata in the Ambon language has the meaning of a specific historical event or sacred history that is told repeatedly. In Christianity, the church has the duty to teach the truth of the Bible, therefore it is necessary to teach repeatedly and thoroughly (Acts 18:25-26, 22:3). Therefore, this journal serves to disseminate the results of biblical theological and Christian education studies produced through a scientific process. This journal is published twice a year and accepts articles that are within the scope of the journal from lecturers, students, and practitioners. Submitted articles will be reviewed by reviewers to maintain the quality of the articles published in the journal. The ratio of authors in this journal is 60:40, with 60% from external sources and 40% from internal sources at STT Bethel Ambon. The geographical distribution of published article authors must originate from at least two different provinces.
